I've been a Spotify subscriber for years. But in that time:

- They cluttered the music playing experience with tangential stuff I don't care about
- Made home and the sidebar measurably worse
- Didn't pay proper royalties to the artists I care about

Why do I do this exactly?

This weekend I finished two (unsurprisingly) brilliant books that (surprisingly) intersect at parts: Fern Brady's 'Strong Female Character' and Robert Sapolsky's 'Determined'. I highly recommend both.
