I can only bow down to the kids who are willing to endanger their own futures to protect the futures of oppressed children halfway across the world. Their desire to shape a better future w/o violence, while demanding economic concessions from their institutions, is laudable.

In 1970, 4 Kent State University students were killed when the National Guard fired on them. Students had been protesting the Vietnam war for years. 2 of 4 were not involved in the protests. None of the shooters got any punishment.

We are in a repeat cycle.

USC has a student body of 48,000 and LA has ~ 9,000 police officers. Even if only 25% of the student mobilize to get their voices heard, the police force is inadequate to contain the impassioned youngsters w/o firepower.

Fact: just like Oct 7, this couldn’t happen overnight.

The students movement isn’t a spider but a starfish organization. It has evolved rapidly in the social media age. IDF/ US intelligence cannot counter it using traditional methods any longer. It’s like trying to herd microscopic germs with a chicken wire fence.
