Some of the nicest people on this app, have truly dragged themselves out from the dirt and made it.

Whether they ended up in a fantastic job, buying or building a business, or in real estate.

Nothing but respect for the people who decided that nothing could hold them down.

Always remember who your champions are.

The people who cheered you on, on the way up
- Backed your crazy ideas
- And were unapologetic in hyping you up

There are so many forces trying to knock you down.

Notice your champions
Be that champion for others, and
Go eat the world

My wife closed a $1.5m pre-seed...and could have raised more.

A lot of great tips in here.
Learn from her wisdom on how to get it done.

Long time listener. First time caller.

Subscribed to Dr. Julie Gurner premium newsletter this morning. Long overdue.

Consistently beautiful thoughts on how to be better as a human, a creative, and a leader.

I love that you see the same mindset across all people who are pushing to be the best at what they do....

No matter what field they're in, they never back down and never give up.

Always striving to be better.

In business, there is almost nothing I like more than a quiet killer.

The ones that are a little introverted. Brilliant.

Who stay behind the scenes, no big fuss, and not press-seeking...Just an absolute monster who pulls it off.

This is Felicia. She’s a feral barn cat that the previous owners had nicknamed “Satan” - and abandoned. When we took ownership of our farm, I was determined to turn things around in many ways - but in this one, it’s been a mission.

First was the rename. No one and nothing should…

What you hold on to, mentally, is 1 of 3 things:
1. Accelerators: pushing you forward
2. Stabilizers: holding you steady
3. Anchors: dragging you down

Examine quickly & move on it:
- Cut the anchors
- Hold the stabilizers
- Feed the accelerators

You've got things to do.

I feel like one essential element of every incredibly successful entrepreneur, is someone with a great internal distaste for authority.

No one is going to tell them what to do.

They might not show it, but it's there.

Make the choice today to stop 'waiting.'
- Waiting for the promotion, the opportunity, or the next level of income

Be impatient.
Take action.
Make something great happen for yourself.

Most people — if they’re honest — operate with hesitancy, some reservation, and only give things 70% effort…if that.

True in their personal & professional life.

Imagine what would happen if you took the chance to put yourself out there completely.

Turn up the volume.

So much of happiness comes from getting excited over the little things...

Opportunity for a great breakfast? Fantastic.
Chance to try out a new strategy? Bring it on.

We're all so fortunate in so many ways - not losing sight of that gives you an incredible shot in the arm.

Outlier results don’t come from doing something everyone else does....

Why feel pressure to be anything different?

One thing they don’t tell you, is that if you’re building something in business or your career - your life won’t look like the lives of your friends.

You won’t have the free time, the going out, etc..

And you’ve just got to be okay with it.

High expectations is about respecting yourself enough to know what you deserve.

People will criticize it, and even push you to lower your bar.

Refuse to be dragged into the mud.
...and don't settle for something that deflates your fire.
