Miss 9 and I had a fab time strolling around the bluebell and Narnia speckled woodland with 250 other fine folks at

Very cool to see the great Don Winslow on one of my fave sports shows, chatting with Rich Eisen today about #CityinRuins and taking his talents into other fields. Check it out: youtu.be/cSE9v34-d00?si… via YouTube Rich Eisen Show
Love this feature by Stephen Jewell, and not just cause I get to mention some fave Kiwi things like boysenberries, steak n cheese pies, and the Black Ferns (among all the bookish stuff)!

So many convos I've had with authors about brilliance of James Lee Burke ... he's the crime writer's crime writer, a legend. On lit vs genre debate, I heard someone say 'just throw a Peter Temple' at those who disparage crime fic as literature; I say push a shelf of JLB on them!
Kia ora to everyone who came out for 'Deadly in Dunedin' last week. We always love visiting DN Public Libraries as part of our nationwide Mystery in the Library series. This year it was a fabulous quartet of Liam McIlvanney, Paul Knowles, Kura Carpenter & Vanda Symon #yeahnoir
Nice memories of Nelson Arts Festival in Oct 2022, with Renée and I joking around at Suter Gallery. Good times with great people when I was last home (I think print feature will be in this weekend's Canvas Magazine), via nzherald nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/… #yeahnoir Clan Destine Press
Written in the very different voice of Clete Purcel, this is a reminder, if one were needed, not only of how good James Lee Burke is, but also how versatile, even in his 88th year. We’re fortunate to have him.
Where our author chats to @StephenJewell of Canvas Magazine about how editing an anthology is kinda like selecting a sports team, growing NZ fruit in London, remembering Renée, and lots about our fab Kiwi/Aussie crime writers... via nzherald nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/… Clan Destine Press
Busy few weeks so forgot to share in February: last year at Bloody Scotland I had pleasure of chairing Swedish star Pascal Engman in a cool 'The Darkest Web' panel with Ashley Kalagian Blunt & Lisa Ballantyne. We later did a Q&A for Good Reading Magazine in Australia: goodreadingmagazine.com.au/article/swedis…
