Yes. It was at the very beginning of spring. He flew to LA got the shot. Got another because they missed the spot. Then played through most of the season with it (idk how I remember all of this)

Re Yoshida: Matt Chapman had that same — or very similar — injury in 2018 during spring training for the A’s. He got a cortisone shot by Dr. Neal El Attrache and played 145 games that year .
