Yes, we love our annual Victoria County History SHINDIG, bringing together our research community from all corners of England. This year, as well as business, training, & socialising, we have an extra treat in store: a hands-on session with treasures of Senate House Library special collections.
Today, a delegation from #Guyana visited Senate House Library to view materials from our special collections & archives related to the 1823 Demerara rebellion of thousands of enslaved people, including handwritten letters from within Sandbach, Tinne & Company | Institute of Commonwealth Studies
We had a great time hosting #HistoryDay at #DCDC23 !
