Stopped by HarvardBrainScience to talk science with Catherine Dulac. Had a really fun conversation spanning many areas of science and had a delicious lunch!!!
Enjoyed co-leading a workshop on citation diversity w/ Felicia Davatolhagh. She introduced open source tools to check whether biblios are biased relative to baseline rates. Adding this step to my writing routine has expanded the breadth of my scientific reading. github.com/dalejn/cleanBi…
We love natural behavior! Our new review highlights recent work from Cris Niell, BBO lab | small things on small heads & others. Is natural behavioral all we need to understand brains? We say no & hypothesize why training critters can be hard. Pls post your training thoughts below. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
Chaoqun Yin Gabriel Rojas-Bowe Anne Churchland and I are also excited to share our work on how movements give critical insights into behavioral engagement states. If you’re interested in state, movements, and decision making, stop by on Sunday morning! Poster Y5 #SFN2023
Looking forward to #SfN2023 If you are interested in visual neuroscience stop by to chat at any of our posters. We are recruiting postdocs for a collaboration with Anne Churchland, Joao Couto, Alex Huk, and Mario Dipoppa! Talk to any of us about this potential opportunity.
This year, #BreastCancerAwarenesMonth has personal significance for me & my lab members. Folks, take this opportunity to get screened and/or tell your mum, sister, aunt, friend or partner to do the same. Please RT and spread the word!
Excited to see the research vision from amazing new director talia konkle! news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/…
Today I am done with my 25th & final session of radiation. Woohoo! My radiation oncologist & nurse even gave me a diploma! So grateful to all the supportive folks who helped me thru. And again, please folks, get your cancer screenings done!! #breastcancer #uclahealth
I’m halfway done with radiation!! Been a lot of ups and downs but I’m gettin thru it (music helps a lot). What are some “half” things I can do to celebrate? Half a cake? Trip to Half Moon Bay? #breastcancer
