Not Like Us has broken its own record for streaming numbers in a single in one day in the US with an astonishing 6.8 MILLION streams on Spotify alone. Kendrick Lamar holds the #1, #3 and #7 spot. Family Matters is #8.

I'm going to start my polls early this year. For a single to hit the charts, which of these 3 factors is the most important and weighs the most for the Billboard Hot 100?

This is a smart move on the part of the people who are buying the single. Because of the content, radio stations may not play it. So streaming (mostly) and sales are what will make it hit #1.

Not Like Us is selling nearly five times as many digital singles in the U.S. as Family Matters is.
