Dear Rishi Sunak In Norway, the government taxes the big polluters around US $21 per barrel of oil. In the UK, we receive less than $2. Why are you going so easy on the huge corporations while the British people can’t afford to turn the heating on?

The Tories let Shell pay *zero* tax on North Sea oil and gas production last year. Instead the Treasury actually paid them £92,000,000! In contrast, Shell paid the Norwegian government £3,400,000,000. We should tax companies like Shell and use that to slash energy bills.

When Jeremy Corbyn was leader he published his full tax return. The press smeared him for missing £thousands. Turned out it was money he gave to charity because he refused to accept a pay rise.
