It’s that time of year again!

Still enjoying my favourite Christmas present from 2023 that came from my daughter-in-law (although I do think of her as my daughter)… a bottle and glass, hand painted with my favourite flower, perfect for water on my bedside table 😍

Went collecting sticks with my grandson on Saturday. He was proud to show his mum the stick he brought home… 😂

My 2 and half year old grandson has to have glasses for a while because of his congenital ptosis… he loves them! What a cute kid he is. 😄

Mrs Day Sharon Day Maths has been working with all the year groups in school for our STEAM project maths focus day. Year 6 have been looking at ratio and composing music with different ratios 🌈

Mrs Day Sharon Day Maths worked with the Year 2 children on maths and music for our whole school STEAM project. They were using chime bars and lines of symmetry to make music! 🌈🎵

Sometimes converting measures can be tricky. Remembering when to multiply or divide and by how much can lead to cognitive overload for them and us! Bar modelling helps with this!

Been planning exciting maths for my first venture into working with Authors Abroad on delivering A.I.M. High days. I will be appearing in Liverpool, Chester, York, Doncaster and Sheffield to name but a few… oh, and of course, Keighley!

One of those email malfunction days today! Sent an email without attachments, emailed something to the wrong person (luckily not confidential) and replied to myself! Reminds me of the day I was deleting deleted emails for 10 mins until I noticed my error! 😂
