Biodiversity Minister @LornaSlater met members of Nature Friendly Farming Network to discuss how nature friendly farming principles can be championed within Scotland's national parks.

Aims include fairer returns for farmers, improved access to sustainable food & greater environmental stewardship.

Building on a Programme for Government commitment to increase our resilience to water scarcity and flooding, Ministers Jim Fairlie MSP SNP and @LornaSlater hosted an expert roundtable on current and future water resource challenges to help inform planning and investment.

On #EarthDay2024 Scottish Government has confirmed that the sale and supply of wet wipes containing plastic will be banned in Scotland.
