More special moments although this time under darker skies.
A tractor at work on a field near home had attracted three Red Kite. Fortunately one was focused enough on that to allow me to take it's photo.

Sometimes it is simply a case of right place, right time. A morning walk in the hope of finding some Yellow Wagtails was topped off nicely by this confiding Stoat!
Amazing moment...I never did find the Wagtails...

Pre work lookout at Brancaster Staithe & Burnham Deepdale staithe. Chiffchaff, Skylark, and Redshank singing, Mediterranean Gulls and Meadow Pipits overhead, and distant Marsh Harriers quarter the marsh.
Nothing better than just sitting, looking, and listening.
Cuteness overload with this little Cetti's Warbler. Usually so skulking it was great to enjoy full frontal views of one.

Common European Adder give me such a thrill when I come across them. Always loved reptiles and this species kickstarted that when I was just 7 years old.

Great to be out guiding for @onestopnatureshop and Deepdale Camping & Rooms this morning.
Blustery weather with showers but a great group of clients and good views had of Ruff, Marsh Harrier, Mediterranean Gull, and much more.
Obligatory stern selfie attached...
Beaut of a morning in Brancaster Staithe & Burnham Deepdale today. This Black-headed Gull made a proper effort to get this insect, but the question is, was it successfull?
