Pre work lookout at Brancaster Staithe & Burnham Deepdale staithe. Chiffchaff, Skylark, and Redshank singing, Mediterranean Gulls and Meadow Pipits overhead, and distant Marsh Harriers quarter the marsh.

Reed Bunting are dapper birds when in their breeding best.
This male seemed to be panting as he had been actively chasing another male off his territory, turning to face me at just the right moment.

Common European Adder give me such a thrill when I come across them. Always loved reptiles and this species kickstarted that when I was just 7 years old.

Great to be out guiding for @onestopnatureshop and Deepdale Camping & Rooms this morning.
Blustery weather with showers but a great group of clients and good views had of Ruff, Marsh Harrier, Mediterranean Gull, and much more.

Beaut of a morning in Brancaster Staithe & Burnham Deepdale today. This Black-headed Gull made a proper effort to get this insect, but the question is, was it successfull?
