I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Randy Seiler. He was a dear friend whose profound impact on South Dakota cannot be understated.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

This morning I got to witness my 18-year-old son vote for the first time.

This afternoon, I get to knock doors and meet voters with my other son.

You can’t ask for much more as a proud dad.

“Hey, I just voted for you!”

I love hearing those words while we’re out knocking doors!

This guy got me fired up. Let’s keep it going everybody!

I got to meet this sweet girl named Zip while getting out the vote today.

There’s something about a dog that makes a great morning that much better.
