James Morrow I have found it quite interesting that the right wing media is more interested in Albo having a shocker, but nothing actually about the rally or what was said by Albo. No mention of Sarah going to the right-wing media and people at the rally reporting what happened was different.

Antfarmer The organiser's sole aim for the day was to 'shame the hell out of this government' (her own words) as she seems to have irreconcilable issues with Albanese.
I'm sure she's actually quite chuffed with how well it all went.

A bit of necessary context before this attempt to rotisserie Albo continues. Thanks 6 News Australia, although it's clearly too late for this particular narrative. Media Watch ?

“Speaking or not speaking?” …and this woman accuses Anthony Albanese of lying? Now an unquestioned hero for Radio 2GB..it’s all predictable ugly partisan politics.
Where was Peter Dutton at any of these rallies?

The Liberal-led Coalition ran dishonest scare campaigns against proposals to reform property tax concessions without offering an effective alternative housing policy, writes John Hewson. satpa.pe/Yl8Zum0

Has Peter Dutton offered any words of solidarity towards the women marching against domestic violence?

NO.

That’s because the LNP have a problem with women.

Questions Greg Jennett failed to ask Jane Hume on

Which rally did you attend over the weekend?

Have you EVER attended a rally supporting women?

The challenge is to watch this video and not be reminded of the previous Prime Minister.

According to the distorted logic of James Paterson every time a murder is committed or a home invasion and assault occurs a police minister should resign.
I get the politics but how about some rationality?

The SMH angrily demands... yet another inquiry into domestic violence. Yep let's have a three-year royal commission that eventually recommends the same stuff as the last dozen inquiries

‘What is the point of government?’

On point column from Mark Kenny who says it’s a question ‘that just might be forming in the minds of restive voters’ with an appetite for more ‘active & engaged government. Yes, please!

Saw the movie Golda today. Apart from an utterly brilliant performance from Helen Mirren it completely missed the contemporary zeitgeist. Also presumed the audience knew how the Yom Kippur war played out.
The Israeli generals were brilliant leaders and tacticians.
