There were 12 new members that were inducted into the National Honors Society this morning.

We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that our students accomplish. Each member of our Huskie family has an extremely bright future ahead of them! ✨

CCP US History capped off our study of the 1920s by coming to class as a historical figure and interviewing each other. Great job!

My students loved this 'Iron Chef' assignment applying their knowledge of the Civil Rights movement to music from the era. Thanks to Sara Ziemnik (sziemnik2198 bsky) for sharing the lesson! Of course, I had to add a Bob Dylan song.

Had a blast seeing students come up with incredibly creative skits for our 1950s 'Block Party' simulation today. Great way to head into Spring Break!

Teaching for the first time this semester. Lots of necessary graphs and formulas, but students had a blast doing the Pearl Exchange market simulation today! Anyone have any other good hands-on simulations or activities to use in Units 3-6?

Had one of the best classes of the year discussing Clint Smith Atlantic article about Confederate memory with my CCP American History students today.
'For some Americans, history isn't the story of what actually happened; it's the story they want to believe.'
