Had an incredible time at the Walk like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) fundraiser walk! Sheriff Lott went above and beyond by entering in the competition to kiss Penelope the pig to help raise funds and awareness for this important cause- And he won FIRST place! #MADD

Yesterday Sheriff Lott joined other veteran officers who served under the leadership of Sheriff Frank Powell who was in office from 1969 until 1988. They get together each month and share stories, camaraderie and a deep bond that never fades. #PoliceFamily

Today, we celebrate the incredible achievement of our 5th grade stars at Pontiac Elementary School who graduated from the D.A.R.E. program! They've gained vital knowledge about resisting drugs, making healthy choices, and standing strong against peer pressure.

Meet Scout! He and his human, Jim Smyrl, were sworn in as special deputies today. 🐾 Afterwards, they got a tour of headquarters where Scout got all the scratches!

Jim and Scout, who's trained through PAALS will volunteer with #RCSD , bringing comfort to victims of trauma.
