This seems plausible. From my perspective the reason it's important to note this as a very likely possibility is so people who think of themselves as 'radicals,' 'leftists,' 'socialists,' or 'Marxists' can understand how they're being used.

Every corrupt machination by the 'deep state' only reinforces this point.
