Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease is devastating reefs in the Caribbean. Our new paper in Nature Communications
nature.com/articles/s4146β¦ shows the transcriptional changes in host and symbiont when exposed and infected with the disease. Our results show symbiophagy as a mechanism.

Day two of sampling heatwave time series with Michael Henson, Ph.D. in the Florida Keys. This morning conditions were great for a quick look at the reef, before doing our normal water column sampling; winds blew up during day, but managed a scavenge in seagrass beds this afternoonβ¦
