Last night was my son’s last GT expo! His team built a theme park! Shout out to Ms. Stewart Foster Elementary Alexa Stewart for leading the students and helping them grow their creativity! Also, thank you to Kingwood Middle for hosting this event for your feeder schools!

5th grade monochromatic paintings. As part of our Value unit in Art, 5th graders did a deep dive into learning about this element of art. Learning to mix tints and shades is the beginning of learning how to give your art a realistic look.

We may not have seen the solar eclipse outside today due to the clouds, but we saw it in the Art room! 4th and 5th graders created their own solar eclipse using chalk pastels! Lots of ooh’s and ahh’s and we could look right at them with no glasses! Foster Elementary Humble ISD Visual Arts
