'There's been genocide in Palestine, I seen it with my own eyes'

There are many parallels between genocide in the Americas and genocide in Palestine. Both are settler-colonial projects with the goal of replacing indigenous peoples with foreign settlers.

Today is the anniversary of the Wounded Knee Massacre when the US military murdered hundreds of unarmed Lakotas & buried them in a mass grave which sits about 45 min away from where I grew up

This isn't the first genocide the United States has tried to normalize. Nor will it be the first it has tried to memory hole.

About a year ago I wrote a song called “American Genocide” and I think it’s time for me to record and release it

I finally had some time to look at photos from my first ever trip to Sami territory (Norway) this summer. I performed at a Sami music festival in northern Norway. As a native from the plains I was mesmerized by the land & water. it was an experience I’ll remember forever

Two highs I’ve been forever chasing:

1. Hearing my music on the radio for the first time
2. Seeing my tiny album art avi on Apple Music and Spotify when I uploaded my first album in 2010

This is a testament that Native mens' biggest supporters are Native women and TG/GNC folks.

Before independent music artists were able to upload our music to mainstream streaming platforms I used to have a 7 disk CD burner and I’d mail handmade CDs of my music to anyone who asked for it online. I’ve even been thinking of going back to this idea for custom orders 🎶🤔
