BBC Mission Statement:
1: Attend Glastonbury
2: Wear cool lanyard
3: Call everything racist
4: Harbour sex offenders
5: Pay yourself lots of money

I sometimes wonder whether people join the BBC just for the jollies they get to go on. Glastonbury, the Olympics, US elections, Eurovision, Euros... they arrive in their hundreds, pretending to be important, importantly wearing their lanyards.

It's time. The BBC needs to go…

BBC Verify, the UK’s biggest laughing stock, now trying to launch in America. Are you sure you want your license fee shilling for the Democrats?

If you aren’t already following this account you need to give your head a wobble. Possibly my favourite account and right on the money again.

We’re in an election year and the head of OFCOM, appointed by Labour’s Sue Gray, runs a BBC dominated OFCOM, with 50% of seats on their Content Committee held by ex-BBC staff and where the BBC are still getting to manage their own complaints.

Of course OFCOM are focusing on…

There's an irony in this. OFCOM, whose most important Content Board, is half ex-BBC staff, pretending diversity is important. FYI OFCOM have never had anyone on their Content Board from any of the hundreds of smaller channels and radio stations.

The BBC's Mid Term Review was carried out by anonymous civil servants at the DCMS.

There's a whole chapter on Diversity, over 6600 words of drivel just on this topic. And this is under a Conservative government too.

Imagine how much worse it's going to be under Labour.

The latest bi-weekly complaints report is out for the BBC.

1 complaint upheld out of 5,183. (bbc.co.uk/contact/ecu/bb…)

The BBC having a storming year. Only 3 complaints upheld so far out of the more than 100,000 they've received.

It is hard to imagine a more professional…

I think everyone agrees that OFCOM are doing a great job at the moment. That's why the number of staff earning a base salary of over £150k has risen from 21 to 30 in the last two years..... as public sector employees of course they get private healthcare.

One of the people who has been helping Ofcom to hire diverse talent is Suki Sandhu OBE, who has called JK Rowling a ‘repeat offender in gatekeeping human rights’ with her ‘transphobic views’

Hi BBC Press Office @ofcom. You’ve had several months to implement the mid-term review.
1) when are you getting non-executives managing complaints?
2) when are you bringing online content into scope?

You never answer but people are beginning to notice. You can’t duck forever.

From OFCOM's latest minutes on their site.
'the Online Safety (OS) Sub-Group of the Content Board would be disbanded for the time being...'

Bye bye accountability, we're OFCOM and can do whatever we want.....
