I returned from the Arctic with lots of love and sadness. My love is for this beautiful environment that is just breathtaking but my sadness comes because it hurts to witness the obvious changes being caused by climate change.

Young Svalbard reindeer rests in the village of Ny-Alesund. This little one was laying on the snow next to our AWI Media house in Ny-Alesund. She spends her time mostly alone or with other adult reindeers in the village.
