I did think this was going to be boring, and then it wasn't. The very simple initial theme is put to good use and the brass are a nice touch. Also the odd bizarre harmony thrown in.

JD Zelenka (1679-1745) liked the 'stile antico'. His music sometimes has a Renaissance style, but with Baroque harmony. It was highly contrapunctal at a time when this was becoming less fashionable. Tends to create a very pure 'holy' feel.
