This vessel is commissioned to do more surveys on the Kish & Bray Banks, supposed to start tomorrow. One vessel already on site, apparently not doing surveys, though. Just looking for fishing gear.

The Planning Bill, when enacted, will not amend the Planning and Development Act 2000, it will completely repeal and replace it (section 6). It is difficult to exaggerate the degree of change it will affect - together with new Regulations, transitional rules and guidance etc.

Important issue that needs more publicity… We’re such ardent consumers -of everything- but perhaps could pause a bit to consider impacts on ourselves and on the planet? Rats shown to not overeat on high fat or on high sugar, but combine the two & they do. Doughnuts? etc…
