Uber and Lyft are threatening to leave Minneapolis, because the city council passed a bill guaranteeing drivers minimum pay.

The rideshare giants take massive chunks of the fare you pay, and are now essentially saying they won't operate in areas where drivers get a living wage.

Uber and Lyft threaten to take their ball and go home every time it looks like they might have to stop shortchanging workers, but greedy corporations don't like to leave money on the table. We'll see.
