Wonderful tribute to The Tragically Hip on John Street by Choir! Choir! Choir! + Hip fans, singing "Ahead By a Century." When my daughter was a baby, I'd sing her sleep with this song. #TIFF24

Wet and windy weather on the way for the Maritimes on Saturday. The storm moving into the region does have some tropical characteristics and will bring heavy rainfall and gusty winds. My latest evening update: youtube.com/watch?v=5P-_vL… #nsstorm #nswx #nbstorm

After winning his first Paralympic medal, 🇨🇦 Jesse Zesseu was overrun with emotion in our interview. He was thinking about his family. And the decision to immigrate to Canada 20 years ago this week. It’s a silver at the Games. But it’s so much more.

🇨🇦Sebastian Massabie just broke the world record to win gold for Canada. It’s his first medal in his first Paralympics. He’s from Surrey, BC and is 19 years old. What a swim. His gold medal is Team Canada’s 22nd medal, surpassing the Tokyo medal tally. cbc.ca/sports/paralym…

Canadian swimming is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 That’s now 11 medals won by Canadian swimmers in the pool during these Paralympics. Add another 8 by Canadian Olympians and it’s quite the medal haul for Canada at La Defense Arena.

Not to be for the Canadian women’s wheelchair basketball team. What a game. What a battle. But in the end defending champion Netherlands were just too much. It’s a 72-61 final. Canada now plays China for bronze on Sunday morning in Paris.

“They should be worried” Canada’s Arinn Young says they are ready to beat China for women’s basketball bronze on Sunday morning at the Paralympics. A disappointed team after this loss. But not deterred. They’ll fight for a medal on the last day of competition.
