Here is the assignment for the field trip to the MET's Ottoman collection. I wanted to make it as fun and engaging as possible. The students seemed to like it.

I think an assignment like this can easily be done with online collections/sources.

Today, I took my Ottoman history class to the MET to explore the fascinating array of artifacts from the Ottoman era. It's truly a privilege to teach such engaged and curious students in a city like New York.
