I cannot stress this enough: you must continue to prioritize friendship when you are dating someone. You should regularly talk to friends, and make sure to see them, without your s/o. You will thank yourself in the long run! Relationships are hard! Friendships are necessary!

I'm actually no longer going to be embarrassed about not having a long dating history. I'm inexperienced in dating not because of anything wrong with me, but because I wanted to repair myself & be well before being in relationships, and I've not been met with that same energy.

I hate that Gilmore Girls framed Sookie getting pregnant a third time as a quirky and inconvenient thing that happened, but if a man (your partner!) tells you he has had a vasectomy and he has not, that's like... a crime? Nothing about that level of betrayal is normal.
