Our President and CEO, Ron Bedard, recently spoke at the AIST Northern Chapter's tradeshow and dinner in Hamilton. With a theme of people and a dash of our technical achievements, Ron's talk shone a light on what makes our company different and celebrated our bright future.

Congrats to all our 36 skilled trade apprentice graduates on receiving their CofQ designations.  We were thrilled to join our grads, their families and mentors to celebrate their achievements this past Saturday for an evening that included, dinner, trivia and a Toronto Rock game.

This past Saturday, Team Orange volunteers helped students from the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) find their perfect outfit for upcoming grads and formals. Thanks to everyone for helping to make lasting memories for these students!

Congrats to the Acid Regeneration Project team for winning ArcelorMittal Dofasco's second AIST gold designation reliability maintenance award! The design developed has been shared internally and externally to help create similar systems to ensure reliability of production.

Congrats to all of the ArcelorMittal Dofasco sponsored FIRST Robotics teams who competed this past week in a district competition at McMaster University. We are proud of all that was achieved this season by our teams and wish the best of luck at the upcoming championships!

Building a pipeline of talent is an important theme of our sustainable development strategy. We know that STEM skills will play a critical part in building a sustainable future. That’s why we partnered with Kangaroo Math Canada to host a competition for students from grades 1-12.

What a great day! Today, nearly 150 Team Orange members came out to support the St. Joe's Healthcare (Hospital & Foundation) healthcare foundation at the Around the Bay race. This event allows our team to be together, challenge ourselves and support our community. Thanks to all who came out today!

A celebration since 1947, we welcomed the first vessel of the 2024 shipping season to Pier 21. This marks the first of many that will carry raw materials to our site this year!

Last weekend Team Orange members supported the Dundas Valley School of Art in their preparations for their 53rd Annual Art Auction. Our volunteers supported in moving and assembling furniture, as well as painting the walls. Be sure to check out the auction from April 1 - 7!

Happy #InternationalWomensDay ! Today, people around the world come together to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women. The 2024 theme is Inspire Inclusion. It’s a reminder that when we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world.

What an amazing week we had last week supporting our local community! A shoutout to our Team Orange volunteers for their efforts at Soupfest, in support of Living Rock, and at the Ancaster Food Drive where over 72,000 lbs. of food was collected and donated to 8 agencies!
