#FANRPAN2024 dialogue bringing together 200 delegates to set of policy recommendations for transforming Africa’s agriculture and food systems and increased awareness & commitment to integrating climate action, research, and innovation in food systems policies.

Learners from Sozilani Secondary School, Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga, visited ARC-Animal Production. The learners toured the Germplasm Conservation and Reproductive Biotechnologies laboratories. The dairy herd and the Bull Testing Centre.

The ARC is hosting a Beef Cattle Farmer's Day at the ARC-Animal Production Irene Campus, Centurion, on 11 September 2024. The theme of the day is "Basics of Beef Farming". For more information contact Mr Jurgen Hendriks or Mr Thokozani Ndonga.

It's amazing how far schools are willing to travel to visit the ARC. A group of learners from Sinethemba Secondary School, Piet Retief,visited ARC-Animal Production . The visit included the Bull Testing Centre, Animal Nutrition and the Small Stock Unit (goats and sheep).
