There’s a difference between stinger grenades and flashbangs.

Stinger grenades make loud noises and loud bangs, contain pieces that fall onto the ground. Also sometimes contain chemical irritants.

Flash bangs do not contain the pieces, but sometimes contain irritant.

NEW: At least 29 students have been suspended by USC for involvement in the protest encampment, incl at least 4 evicted from student housing.

That also includes student negotiators who met with Folt & Guzman last week, prior to the encampment eviction by LAPD on May 5. Story TK
