If this government was serious about dealing with #P &O #Ferries they would of taken the £11M off P&O and invested it in training #seafarers as they know that the UK has a skills shortage of UK #ratings due to years of under investment and a lack of political will!

A #P &O #seafarer reported being onboard like being in jail according to ITV.

This is the closest they will get to going ashore for 17 wks, whilst being paid less than £5p/h for 12 hrs work

The scandalous and unlawful sacking of 786 seafarers by P&O Ferries means that the company is now forcing staff to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, for up to 17 weeks for £4.87 an hour!

Today, in #PMQs , Rishi Sunak said that Labour would be 'soft on crime, soft on criminals', yet two years on from P&O Ferries admitting that they acted unlawfully in sacking 786 seafarers absolutely nothing has been done.
