The thing I'm learning from Twitter Discourse today is that apparently the children of immigrants (let alone immigrant children) aren't actually children. V interesting.

I'm begging people to stop being weird. No, it's not 'fine' to have an aversion to any group of people, especially not the most vulnerable. Children are often the group where a nice chunk of other bigotries (racism, sexism, transphobia) are directed towards in policy.

I sometimes wonder what my decade in the US did to my anxiety.

I guess I've always been quite anxious (genes and childhood factors), but living in the US really turns the screw somehow.
