Breakfast at the hotel before checking out

V tired now after a whole day of travelling + ytd not sleeping much on the plane so gonna go sleep now
But tmr need wake up early 🥲

Walked to Salzburg train station to check out the Spar supermarket
Stuff there is cheaper than pretty much everywhere I’ve seen so far
Surprisingly not crowded for a train station
A lot of shops are also closed in the area, maybe it’s a Sunday thing?
Also spotted their police car

Checked in to Wyndham Grand Salzburg to stay
It’s a convention centre actually
The view was unfortunately blocked by some construction going on otherwise the mountains look rly nice

Dinner at Gasthaus Webersdorfer in Salzburg
Started with a salad that was very sour
Followed by a pork schnitzel with some rather salty fries
And ended with some cake with cream that was rly sweet
Oh and water here is sparkling lol

Crossing over to Austria on the first day for a stop at Swarovski crystal world
Stuff here is supposedly cheaper than other outlets cos it’s their main hq
This sculpture is rly nice too
The prices are still crazy high tho

Other than the castle, the area also has a small lake, some nice buildings and food stalls and also a horse carriage ride
The hotdog was nearly $10 tho

Starting from Germany first, Neuschwanstein castle was the first attraction of the day
Was rly nice from the viewing point and surprisingly not overly crowded
Rly beautiful place but a lot of walking here

Day 1 🇩🇪
Arrived at Munich airport and changed the outfit
The stuff here is so ex omg Starbucks is like €7 on avg

After taking off I can see the city area lol SG looks so nice at night
The sunrise was amazing on the plane
Also took a landing time lapse
There’s so many fields

2 meals on the plane and some turbulence somewhere near the area of the SQ321 incident

Took Lufthansa for the first time
Gonna be 12 days in Europe 🇪🇺

Apparently the EU elections debate is called Eurovision debate
What a confusing name

There was supposedly a Eurovision boycott
Seems like those ppl ended up watching Eurovision after all

This year’s NDP song “Not Alone” is one of the worst I’ve heard
Still better than the church song we had last year
The quality of songs has dropped so much from 2021

Suicide snap election for the Tories
Rly hope those in the UK would kick as many of them out as possible
It’s their best chance in a generation
Lib Dem comeback would be rly nice to see, they must capitalise on the Tory vote collapse

Very lucky that the connection was still strong on the ferry when I bought the tix for pink party
If they released it 20min later I might not have gotten any tix at all since I’m in the middle of the sea lol

Last day outfit for Batam
It was fun except for the rain and mosquitoes and google map inaccuracies 😂

Took the ferry back in the night
Quite diff from daytime where the islands, ships and waves in the sea are all visible
Also a diff ferry from the first day
But here’s the end of the 5 day trip… trip posting ends for now, resuming 25th May for my next trip 😂

Ate kfc at the ferry terminal itself
The original recipe burger is somehow diff from SG one and nicer
The fries is also way better, fries in SG just get worse and worse
