Genuinely sad about Bernard Hill, he lived nearby and bought some of my paintings from my first exhibition in the local town. After that, we had many wonderful conversations, he was lovely.

One of the small woods we cleared recently of ash die-back. Lots of sedges and grasses coming through and birds aplenty. Left some stumps quite high as the owls rather like them
