AJ Smith Paying big fees doesn’t mean the player is world class. See the 400 million EFC have spent. Virtually every player Klopp buys has improved. VVD from Soton, was 50M but went to 75M because of tapping up. Goalkeeper was not double (Buffon 47M) both bought with Coutinho money.
