US 'nones' are young. Non-religious identity is sticky. Rates of leaving religion have risen. Unless these dynamics change a lot, 'no religion' numbers will rise.

For wonky reasons, estimates of 'no religion' share vary and sometimes seem to plateau or even dip.

I'm moving to an office with much less space for books. I said goodbye to 20% of my books. Then I tried replacing some that remain with Kindle versions, but many important works aren't available on Kindle at any cost. Advice?

Myself & Jan Saarela have examined this with national Finnish register data in a new study.

We find that fertility does differ, but the differences are not so large.
