Capcom's localisation ensured that the MH4U tutorials were shorter and we wouldn't accidentally make them repeat by mashing through dialogue.

They made this change because they understood the overseas audience was older and more experienced with games.

Gore and Shagaru Magala weapons were localised into german/french respectively happened because the original japanese names could not be directly translated into english without sounding unnatural. The Gore IG would have been 'Aim the Trick', for instance.
