A #SprintBasedFootball approach led to another week 1 victory for Stewartville Football! We were as healthy, fast & powerful as we’ve ever been. Our Wed sprint was 🔥 Gameday was the hardest thing we’ve done yet. 👀 wave theory 🚫conditioning 🚫cramps 🚫injuries 1-0 #SpeedWins #FTC

My goal was to finish the first draft of my book by Sept 1st. I'm two days late. But it's done! Now to edit. "Your manuscript is both good and original, but the part that is good is not original, and the part that is original is not good." ~Samuel Johnson

I started a new podcast. I’m tired of hearing the same stuff regurgitated in our space. This entire show will be dedicated to making data and numbers simpler and easier to understand and implement. Go give it a listen. Episode 1 is out now on Spotify and YouTube

So funny. I say at the start I’m not necessarily a 100% FTC coach because we do some tempo COD conditioning in early off season…then I spend the next 99% of the podcast sounding exactly like Tony Holler Brad Dixon 😂😂 Actually starts off sounding like a football performance

We also do some "tempo" work (no pads on air) running plays in the pre-season, based on football work:rest ratio. It's low dose and built up over the first 3 weeks of the season. We also add a change of direction component and vary distance based on position.

Muditā is a dharmic concept of joy, particularly an especially sympathetic or vicarious joy, the pleasure that comes from delighting in other people's well-being. Good teams reject jealousy and pettiness. Overachieving teams pull for each other.
