Yesterday, Donald Trump said states should decide on abortion bans. Today, Arizona used a law from 1864 to ban nearly all abortions.

This is the Republican plan. This is Donald Trump’s plan. They can’t run from it. They can’t hide from it.

And they can’t lie to voters about it.

Gen X humor is the best humor.

VP Kamala Harris responds to Trump’s abortion comments: “Just minutes ago, standing beside Speaker Johnson, Donald Trump just said the collective of state bans is ‘working the way it is supposed to.’”

The crowd boos. Harris adds “a second Trump term would be even worse.”

SNL did a skit called 'O.J. Today' that parodied the endless coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder trial (Bob Brown in the O.J. Copter!). It was silly at the time, but turned out to be prophetic - that's real life now.

And of course, thanks to all this we have the Kardashians.

Real leader right here. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn't have time for petty squabbles and turf wars. Her focus is on building a winning coalition and getting things done. She's the future of the Democratic Party.

100%. If they’d just let millennials have the power we should’ve aged into by now these mistakes could be avoided but it’s looking like just more over-investment in the wrong places which is gonna lead to fewer creative opportunities…again.

my coming of age in four movies

I’d like to do a stream this week and donate funds to something Gaza aid related. But with aid being blockaded and aid workers being bombed it’s not clear to me where funds would actually be of use. Anyone have informed suggestions about this?

It's wonderful being a trans person in this moment when we're being demonized by the same people who are going out of their way to protect sexual predators who abuse children.

The discourse over 'Sex and the City' is hilarious. It's possible to both enjoy the show and believe it hasn't aged very well. You can do both! I promise. It's not only okay but actually encouraged to enjoy and question art at the same time. You don't have to choose.
