Many claim LNG is necessary for economic prosperity in rural and Indigenous communities, but LNG takes so much of our clean water and clean energy that there is a huge cost to the same communities they claim to benefit due to risks to agriculture, fishing, firefighting etc.

2 years ago the Climate-Aligned Finance Act (CAFA) was introduced in the Senate by Rosa Galvez. But it has yet to be adopted.
Canada’s big 5 banks have provided over $800 billion in finance for fossil fuel projects since the Paris Agreement! CAFA could fix that. It's time!

It's great to see elected leaders bringing the Youth Climate Corps into the political conversation. Young people are waiting for an invitation to help fight the climate crisis. We know that 84% of young people support or can accept a Youth Climate Corps.
