Lahore: I've brought many here, and they tell me I've sent them many more. Always love seeing someone 'get' a place on their first visit: last night it was the excellent Burnt Basque.
It's as good as ever: mutton karhai deserves your close attention.

The Lahore Kebabish menu has had a revamp and the new mutton karahi/ karahi gosht is a barnstormer.

They did. A Pringles tube stuffed with 'pig stix', and an act of kindness I've never forgotten. This was a lovely thing, the sort of hearty cooking elevated by skill and a lightness of touch I love Rob for. And he managed to stop himself letting on the Liverpool score, too.
