HIGH WIND & STORM THREAT ⚠️ A strong low-pressure system will drag a cold front across the Tennessee Valley later this evening. A squall line will develop along this front and move from west to east between 9 PM and 3 AM ET. Strong winds of 50-60 mph will be possible.

As of this morning, the fire near Daus Mountain Road in Sequatchie County is about 50% contained. Smoke from the fire will likely spread across portions of Hamilton, Bradley, Whitfield, and Murray Counties as northwesterly winds pick up later today.

POOR AIR QUALITY ⚠️ We are waking up to poor air quality due to smoke from several prescribed burns and brush fires to our south. The air quality will remain in the poor range for much of the day, so limiting time outdoors will be a good idea.
