The great Louis Ford took me out to lunch yesterday and gave me such a wonderful education in NOLA style jazz. Louis is a clarinetist and fifth generation musician in his family. His great great great great uncle wrote the hymn, His Eye Is on The Sparrow, still sung today.

What a magical few days! Reluctantly returning home! Thank you New Orleans…the love is real and the music is everything ❤️❤️
