Final recap on yesterday’s cleaning of January Wabash Park in Ferguson: 50+ volunteers from Emerson and beyond made this beautiful park spotless. Thx to Emerson’s Adam Glassl for leading the way. Today: Brentwood Blvd at Forest Park Parkway.

Manager Tom at ⁦Old Town Donuts⁩ tells me his Florissant kitchen is expanding to accommodate all the wholesale and catering orders. I am not surprised. They are moving into the old jewelry store next door.

That was a barren median until a group of us planted flowers there and on Tucker Ave, Wash Ave and in City Hall window boxes. Horstmann Brothers and Gateway Greening (now Seed STL) coordinated. Raised the $ on my KMOX radio program. Pat Shannon and Kevin McGowan were also key.

Many hands make light work here in ⁦Ferguson, Missouri⁩ ‘s January-Wabash Park where about 50 Emerson employees are filling heavy-duty construction bags with trash. Got a few others from ⁦Bank of America⁩ and beyond also pitching in. This is actually kind of fun
