I used to have a lot of libertarian tendencies. I've read all the standbys of modern libertarian thought: Hayek, Mises, Rothbard, and so on.

So I was very interested in watching Trump speak at the Libertarian Party freak show this weekend.

Can we just appreciate how wild it is that Trump is even still a thing, let alone the leading contender to become president? After all they've thrown at him, it's actually insane. It's a symbol for America. After everything we've been through, we can rise again.

NBC's Dasha Burns talks with black and Hispanic voters at the Bronx rally:

'Trump is the man who can save this country, period.'

They don't care that Democrats smear him unfairly as a racist. They care about his policies. The pocketbook issues are driving them to the polls.

Two key observations from Trump's speech last night in the Bronx:

1) He pitched Hispanic and black voters on the need for a secure border and deportations because those illegal immigrants hurt THEM the most by depressing wages, crowding, and crime. The crowd loved it. They
