Is ‘It Comes at Night’ one of A24’s scariest releases? I think so, and here I argue why it’s worth another look

Christian and I are celebrating our three year anniversary today and he got me this film reel of the ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ trailer and it’s probably the sickest thing I’ve ever owned

‘Abigail’ was cute (was worried). But (!!!) Radio Silence has also made the same movie four times now. Cast/narrative/conceit might change, but they’ve rigidly stuck to the same 2010s horror language since ‘Ready or Not.’

Matt Reeves’ sincerity as filmmaker isn’t talked about enough, I wish more blockbuster directors would find the time to put little scenes like this into their movies

Really impressed with some of what ‘Founder’s Day’ tried to do, but as a whole, it was a slog weighed down by poor audio mixing, painful CG blood, and frenzied motivations that never made all that much sense. Bummed I didn’t like it more.
