I’m 4.5 years sober and waking up without a hangover on a Sunday is still the best feeling. What are you up to today? #RecoveryPosse
Hey #RecoveryPosse I’m hosting a Sober Storytelling event on May 23rd. Come hear two speakers share how they quit alcohol and changed their lives. Get ticket here: eventbrite.com/e/sober-storyt…
Ok, #RecoveryPosse what’s your best advice for someone who is trying to quit drinking for the first time?
If you’re free at 11:30 EST join me as I chat with Mary Beth O'Connor about her journey to sobriety in our live event, Sober Storytelling! Also, if you’d like to share your story with me, send me a dm! #RecoveryPosse
We’ve been sold the lie that as a society we need alcohol to have fun, to connect, to live our best lives. Being sober feels like being let in on one of the best kept secrets of our time. #RecoveryPosse who else feels this way?!
Ok, #RecoveryPosse curious to know, are you grateful for your struggles with addiction, and do you think you it helped shaped who you are today? I’m not yet grateful for mine.
This is one of my fav quotes in regard to recovery. “Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” Nelson Mandela It took me 2 years before I hit long term sobriety. How long did it take you to get sober? #RecoveryPosse
Ok, #RecoveryPosse how did you know you needed to get sober? Was there a sign or specific moment? Mine was my husband telling me how my drinking was hurting him.
On Saturday I ran a 5k, and I was only able to do it because I’m sober. When I was in active addiction I lost the ability to run. But, now I’m in recovery and I can. What’s something you can do now that you’re sober, but couldn’t when you were addicted? #RecoveryPosse
Join BRENDEN CORR as he talks about his journey to sobriety! We are live! #RecoveryPosse
Ok, #RecoveryPosse what’s your take on non-alcoholic drinks? Do you drink them why or why not? I do, but I think everyone is different and should know what works for them
Ok, #RecoveryPosse curious. Do you call yourself an alcoholic, why or why not? I don’t. But I’d love to hear reasons for and against
This was my feeling when I was first trying to get sober I had no idea what I was doing but it got easier. Anyone else in the #RecoveryPosse relate
Just finished a 3 mile run in a beautiful park because I’m hangover free. #RecoveryPosse what are y’all up to?
Hey #RecoveryPosse I’ve had a big demand for the live Sober Storytelling series I host here. Simply put, you join me live and tell how you got sober from addiction. To streamline the process dm me or comment on this thread and I’ll send you a link to my calendar to book!
