As we near the end of the year, I'm taking the time to reflect on what I've achieved. One fantastic project has been commissioning and editing these brilliant #readingplanet books for Hodder Education - Ages 3-11, working with top-class authors & illustrators. I'm so proud of every single one!

It’s 20 years since the repeal of section 28. I wrote about being a gay teen under that hateful law in BOY LIKE ME (99p on Kindle right now, so treat yourself!)

s.28 left us lonely, afraid and ashamed. And there are people today who would gladly see it return.
