Of all times, when medical data is the subject of misinfomation and disinformation, why on *earth* would one of the Royal Colleges put a spin on data.

What's particularly daft is doing this in a room full of experts including experts in medical statistics.

Not Good.

So senior figures within the Royal College of Physicians presented a false picture of what its survey found. What a mess. One resignation so far...

It’s also worth noting that executive and board directors carry the liability for this under law. That ‘crumbling national infrastructure’ isn’t a defence under health and safety law or breach of CQC regulations. All of which can carry fines/ prison sentences.

It really is astonishing how little the main parties have to say on health in an election year where that is the biggest concern among voters

This seems like a fairly crass way to try to incentivise improvement. It’s especially crass to announce it with 2 and a bit weeks left to go to try deliver the improvement. This is not how to help the NHS deliver what patients and staff want
